In December 2006, UTV launched a new
competition across both its TV channel and radio station U105. The
competition gave viewers a chance to win £10,000 and was widely promoted
for the two weeks immediately after Christmas. The opening sequence
depicted Julian Simmons being showered with notes before the competition
name flies in from the left. The same opening was used on each
competition sequence, with the question slide being edited in before the
text numbers slide. |
