In-programme pointer graphics are shown towards the end of programmes to inform viewers which programme is coming up next. UTV have experimented with IPPs on numerous occasions, examples of which are shown below:

This was introduced on Monday 6th April 2009, following the introduction of a DOG to all programming on UTV. The DOG becomes full colour, the bar slides out

to the right along with the programme name and then slides back into the left again before the DOG returns to its transparent state (see below)

This was shown Monday to Thursday during News at Ten, just before the end of the programme when introducing the 'And finally...' report

It was introduced in February 2008 and withdrawn late 2008.
