Almost a month after the logo was
added to programme promotions, on Saturday 17th May 2008, UTV began
adding programme categories alongside the UTV logo. Now, at the
beginning of the promos, the UTV logo appears as well as a description
of the programme, e.g. UTV entertainment, UTV drama, UTV sport etc. The
word stays on screen throughout , disappearing just before the promo
endboard appears, with the logo then animating on as before. In the
early stages of this development, UTV experimented with the word
appearing briefly at the start of the promo and then fading away leaving
just the UTV logo. However, this lasted only a few weeks before they
reverted to having the word stay on screen throughout. |
